Wednesday, September 11 – Youngstown, Ohio to Home

The view from our motel window shortly after 7 am.

I never like going home from a vacation, but seeing this sign helps prepare me the end of a fabulous vacation.

It’s good to see our Pennsylvania mountains.

It is also good to see signs of fall.

I took these pictures at a rest stop – which means we were not traveling at 60 – 70 miles per hours.

It was also good to see large, Pennsylvania sunflowers.

We drove through more farmland as we traveled east on I-80.

Then – after two weeks on the road we were home! Our trip odometer said we traveled 5,345 miles.
It’s always a good feeling to come home from a vacation! I’ve also been away for the last 1- days –have enjoyed reading your posts, and will catch up with some comments over the next couple of days!
Yes, it is good to be home – after I am home. I would always like to extend vacations.
I have really enjoyed “going along” with you on this trip. I’m not sure I ever heard of Bryce Canyon before; the pictures are amazing! Thank you.
You would enjoy Bryce Canyon. It is beautiful
Thanks for sharing your trip with us.
I would love to do a trip like that. I don’t enjoy flying anymore – they’ve taken all the fun out of it.
But I do enjoy driving. Maybe some day…..
I agree with you on flying, but sometimes it is necessary. I love road trips.
