Saturday Evening, August 3
We went to the picnic right after the funeral lunch for my cousin Tim. Since we were a bit early, we stopped at TFC’s Harrisburg Chapel – located at Wilco Travel Plaza at I-81, Exit 77.
Associate Chaplain Ed was on duty and was working on his daily reports before going to the picnic.
Chaplain Joe and Cerwin visiting at Chaplain Chris’ house where the picnic was held. The picnic was for the staff at the Harrisburg and Frystown (Pennsylvania) chaplains. Joe is lead chaplain at Frystown.
Bunny, Ed and Chris. Chaplain Chris was preparing the hamburgers. He is lead chaplain at the Harrisburg chapel.
Since we were early, I walked around the yard looking for things to photograph.
The food was brought into the house since there was a thunderstorm threat.
Everyone brought something, which made a nice variety of delicious food.
After supper we had interesting, serious, and fun conversation.
Can you tell that we had a lot of fun. Len’s wife (on the cell phone) was googling something that we were discussing. 🙂
Thanks Chris for organizing the evening.
It looks like a wonderful picnic — and I love the things you found for photos!
They have a very woodsy yard, so it was fun looking for interesting things.
