Saturday, July 27
I have a few more pictures as I left the beach on Saturday morning.
The birds were serenading me as I walked away from the beach.
The lawn sprinklers were busy as I walked toward the house.
A rabbit ran across the sidewalk as I approached the house where we were staying.
Our steps
There was a pretty crepe myrtle bush a few houses away from ours.
Jere and Cerwin went to get donuts for our breakfast. We needed something simple as it was time for packing and cleaning up the house.
Everyone gave Jere their choice of donut. Cerwin’s and mine are in the center. Cerwin’s included bacon and mine was lemon and coconut.
This is what the dining and living room area looked like when we were ready to leave.
The kitchen
The downstairs room where Jana slept.
It included a futon sofa.
The boys bedroom
Our bedroom
The upstairs bathroom – there was also one downstairs, but that one did not have a shower.
The master bedroom where Jere and Kristen slept. They had their own bathroom and a deck.
Jere going over the final report and checklist.
Jere and Cerwin attaching the rented trailer to the truck.
This is how we traveled the entire way home – Jere, Kristen, Ian and Jesse in the lead, with Austin and Jana in the middle and Cerwin and I bringing up the rear.
My seashell and stone memories from a wonderful three days (Thursday afternoon and evening, Friday and Saturday morning.)
The first shot is a real winner, Doris! What a lovely way to spend a few days in the middle of a hot summer — the house looks wonderful, the ocean perfect, and with family it had to be a special few days!
It was so much fun to photograph a new area.
