These are shells and stones I picked up during our sunrise walk on the beach.
When Jere and I got back to the house, Kristen was preparing waffles for everyone.
Sausage was an option as well.
Following breakfast cleanup, we headed to the beach.
Jere, Cerwin and the boys had gone out earlier to set up the canopy – left.
This is what it looked like under our canopy, with towels, snacks and lunch in the bags.
Things I saw from my seat in the shade.
That is Jere and Kristen in the ocean.
It looks like Kristen retrieved some seaweed.
It was time for me to walk toward the water.
Looking back toward our canopy (beige).
Getting my feet wet.
A broken seashell
Jana and Austin had arrived and were relaxing under the canopy when I got back.
The old people enjoying the shade.
Josh’s girlfriend, Emily (right), and her daughter Tucker drove down for the day. (They live in Philadelphia.) She and Kristen are nurses, so they had a lot to talk about. ๐
You will have to come back tomorrow to see what Tucker found. Hint: It was moving. ๐
Looks like a great day at the beach!
We are not “beach” people, but it was fun to listen to the waves, watch people, and especially be with Jere and Kristen’s family.
