Monday Evening, July 15
When finishing our meal at Ichiban, Jenna said, “We should go to Sweet Frog for dessert.” We agreed that was a great idea – and it was just a short drive to another shopping center.
Making yogurt and topping choices.
I enjoyed seeing everyone’s choice.
Me – I just like plain ice cream (or yogurt) – usually vanilla, but they were out of vanilla so I chose root beer float. It was delicious.
It was a fun evening and a beautiful drive home – into the sunset.
There must have been something going on in the Amish community as we met several as we neared our house.
I’m not sure I would have had room for those desserts, but they do look good. It always amazes me how differently people choose in a buffet line! What are the small orange berries in the shot just above your dish?
They are little fruit flavored balls. They are quite good, but I don’t know how they are made. They have the consistency of “fish eye” tapioca.
I’ll have to visit a frozen yogurt shop and see if I can try them! I generally try to stay away, but the current heat is a good excuse!
The heat sounds like a good excuse to me. 🙂
Love the silhouettes!! Especially the last one of the horse and buggy. Lovely photography – as usual. 🙂 I haven’t been to Sweet Frog in ages. I usually don’t put toppings on mine either – maybe just a few crushed nuts.
If I use a topping, it would be hot fudge and whipped cream. I love whipped cream.
