Remember when I posted this picture from June 9 – of corn being planted in the field below us?
This is what it looked like the other day – nine days later – after weekly rains and humidity.
Soil (or dirt) is an interesting study and is far from what appears to be a dead substance.
From the internet: Soils are complex mixtures of minerals, water, air, organic matter, and countless organisms that are the decaying remains of once-living things. It forms at the surface of land – it is the “skin of the earth.” Soil is capable of supporting plant life and is vital to life on earth.
What beautifully straight rows of corn that machine plants! And the corn is growing really fast!
It’s even taller now – a few days later.
Man plants the seed. GOD provides the increase.
For sure.
