Getting ready to throw the bridal bouquet

We were making fun of my brother Clair for his choice of whoopie pie – 1 chocolate chip cake, one red velvet cake and coffee filling. His wife, Kate, left (I almost missed her in this shot) took a bite and said, “Eweee”. Our sister-in-law Brenda in blue, across from her is my brother Steve, and next to him is Cerwin. My brother Dale and sister-in-law Dot were on a trip to Germany, Switzerland, and France with a group who are tracing our Hershey heritage.

Clair’s unusual whoopie pie. I chose red velvet with cream cheese filling. It was delicious.

Then it was over – and the groom’s dad, Larry, took the straw bales back to the barn. (I expect there was a reason why the wagon was attached to the front of the tractor and he backed out of the meadow.)

Our view as we left the meadow and walked home.

Oh, what a perfect day for a wedding in the meadow.
Beautiful photos; beautiful memories. I love the idea of a ‘meadow sanctuary’!
Thank you. I agree.
