Cerwin waiting while I took a picture at the entrance. He didn’t know that he was in the shot. π
We reserved a table in the atrium – the open room between the restaurant and the outdoor dining.
One of our birthday girls was Lauree – wife of our grandson Nathan.
The other birthday girl was our granddaughter Jenna – with her husband Dustan.
I asked for a second picture of them – not standing so close – so I could use it for birthday pictures. π
The unanimous appetizer choice was a plate of Rhino Fries.
I liked the pretty stack of dishes we received for eating the fries.
Our meal choices
I forgot to photograph my Lobster Bisque.
Lauree was convinced that Nate had his shirt on backwards because she thought she saw the stitching from the tag. π He was sure it was okay and not a tag. I think she was finally convinced that it was not on backwards. (Love hanging out with married grandchildren!)
Dustan and Jenna shared Turtle Fries for dessert. They are similar to funnel cake.
I loved the look on Lauree’s face when her Seventh Heaven (warm brownie and vanilla ice cream) was delivered. Look at its size next to Nate’s World’s Smallest Sundae – a very small dip of ice cream with fudge and whipped cream.
We had so much fun with these four!
Looks like a fun luncheon! You are fortunate to have so many different restaurants close by!
We have lots of choices – just within half an hour of us.
