Diane, Jere, Deb, and Jeff
Mother’s Day is always a mixture of emotions for me – love for our four children and what a delight it is to be their mother and go through life with them and their spouses – their children and grandchildren. It also makes me feel inadequate as I think about all the things I could have done better. One thing they will always know – even though I many not have always done everything right – I always loved them.
Jeff, Diane, Deb, and Jere
Sometimes it hardly seems possible that they have gone from small children to adults who are now in their 40s and 50s.
A beautiful arrangement from Jeff
I am looking forward to making and tasting this from Diane.
A card from Jere included a coupon for a meal out with him.
I messaged my thanks and said, “I am available.”
Before long we had plans to meet on Tuesday at Mill 72 in Manheim.
It is a fairly new restaurant, but I had never been here. I learned through Jere that it is owned by a local couple. Both husband and wife grew up in our neighborhood and went to school with our children. I love when locals have local businesses. I even know their parents.
Jere’s lunch
I got a bagel, quiche and latte.
Thanks, Jere. It was fun to hang out with you.
A nice card from Deb with a note that she and Roy will take us out to eat for Mother’s Day and Father’s Day.
I got a cute card from Roy. The tiny card said, “To the best in-law this outlaw could ask for.” 🙂
Your extended family seems to thrive — I love the first shot of your family, and the adult children always seem kind and thoughtful. It looks like it was a happy mothers day!
Our children are kind and thoughtful.
