I was coming home from taking a mailing to the post office the other day when I saw a large bird in a tree near our house and went home for my camera to see what it was.

I took a picture and zoomed in – it was a bald eagle! I have only seen a bald eagle near our house about 3 or 4 times in my life.

I kept walking toward it, until it flew away.

Then it was gone.

That was a fun sighting for my day.
