The other day I looked out the window and saw an Amish neighbor taking two wagons down the road and knew where he was going – to Penryn Fire Hall for Saturday’s sale.
They need lots of farm wagons for the outside auctions.
I wish I could have captured a photo of him returning, because there was another wagon in the “train”. He was going by our driveway and over the hill before I could get my camera.
The mud sale raises funds for a the fire company and a local Amish school.
That sale should yield major funding for the fire company and school — if I remember, it goes on and on!
It does go on and on and yields a nice benefit for the school and fire company.
