We have been included in quite a few meetings at the International Office since the beginning of the year. I saved a variety of photos to make one post.
But – first things first – coffee and a donut. ๐
Mike, Ron, Bunny and Cerwin discussing an issue with one of the chapels.
Cerwin was asked to assume the responsibility of Northeast Region District Manager and is now included in more meetings than usual. He is enjoying being more involved with the chaplains from Massachusetts, Maryland and Pennsylvania.
This meeting involved ministry newsletters and advertising flyers. I have appreciated Joanna’s input and fresh eyes on these items. She is next to me – second to left.
Most times everyone is included in meetings, such as here where there is some brainstorming being done concerning TFC’s publication, Highway News and Good News.
They are discussing paper weight, texture and printing style.
I took time to capture individual photos of each person – except I was never able to track down Mike Hayden in his office. ๐ So I created two closeups of him from the above pictures.
Mike, who is Director of Business and Finance, wisely and patiently oversees one of the toughest jobs in any ministry.
Joanna and Inge’s need for photos of Ron Fraser, TFC’s new president, began the day’s goal of taking individual pictures. His pursuit of creating a position of high integrity for the ministry and wise use of our finances receives my respect and admiration.
I like the reflection in this picture.
Ruth Martin is a very capable Executive Secetary to the Office of President and Chaplains.
Proofing a newsletter.
Carol Henson is Business and Finance Associate and does a great job of coordinating receipts and many other items in business and finance.
Joanna Maart is the newest office employee – as International Office Manager – and has quickly gained my respect with her amazing talent and skills.
I liked how the sun was hitting the mobile chapel in a window of her office.
Inge has been with TFC since February 1995 and is the very capable editor of the Highway News & Good News.
Inge’s country of birth is Brazil, so she enjoys any opportunity to translate letters and emails with our South American chaplains.
Bunny O’Hare is Director of Pastoral Care for Chaplains and keeps in touch with chaplains and often ministers to truckers who are in our area.
He and his wife, Peg, have become good friends of ours – especially since their move to Pennsylvania from Massachusetts a dozen or so years ago. Anyone who talks to him knows that his mother tongue is not Pennsylvania Dutch. ๐
It is a blessing to serve with these godly, talented, and dedicated men and women, and many others who are scattered around the United States, Canada, Russia, Zambia, Tanzania, and Brazil.
