Saturday, February 16
I arrived early to get pictures and reserve a seat where I could get pictures during the program without having to get up and walk around too much. It appeared that they were set up for 160 ladies.
The committee always does a great job of decorating. This year it looked like springtime.

Prayer
Sharon grew up in our church and spent several terms of volunteer service before moving to Alabama to serve with We Care Prison Ministry. She and her husband, Dale, are in the process of moving to Virginia.
She told several stories from her childhood and teenage years as God shaped her life through her parents, grandparents, and church – and the consequences for some of her actions and pranks.
Her theme for the morning was Waiting, Hoping, and Trusting in God. She told how God called her to Kentucky through a question in a sermon. “If God said, go, how will you answer?” and the impact of listening to the song, “So send I You.”
Trust is not inaction. God develops strong roots in us as we wait, hope, and trust. God does not promise us an easy road, but that He will be with us. God’s waiting room is not always a great place to be, but it is a place to trust Him.
Waiting well means trusting God. Persevere until change comes. Wait, hope, trust. Shift your limitations to His unlimited power.
Following a great morning of refreshment, Emily closed the program with prayer.
What a great turnout! And both the meal and the talk look worth the time and effort!
It was a delightful, refreshing morning.
Ir must have been an enjoyable morning. You might say a little prayer for me. Dr. put me on an antibiotic today for a UTI. I never had one before. I’ve had no symptoms except for high BP. which is why I went to see him. I’ve taken BP meds for several years now. I’m sure I’ll be OK. I’m just getting tired of being tired and not feeling good. Sorry to complain. God has been so good to me all my life.
I will be praying for you.
