This photo was taken a few days ago – Wednesday, January 9.

I try not to take sunrises for granted, but know I do, because daytime always happens – even when it is cloudy and we cannot see the sun or a beautiful sky.

Do you ever wonder how God did that? How He decided that there will be twenty-four hours in a day – with a sunrise and a sunset. Why are there not thirty-six hours in a day?

Did He have to think about it and plan it for a thousand or so years – like we plan and design something for days, sometimes weeks or years – or did He just do it?

Maybe I will ask Him some day.
