I’m not a big fan of the taste of venison – mule deer or whitetail – so do my best to camouflage the taste when I make it. 🙂 My favorite way of making a venison steak is to cube it, fry it with bit of onion and sweet pepper, then when it is almost finished add some honey barbecue sauce.
An easy way to make “baked potatoes” is to cube and microwave until almost finished, then add salt, pepper, and butter to taste.
That was a delicious supper for a cold winter night.
I enjoy venison — this looks like a delicious dinner!
If the deer grows up in an area where gets a lot of corn and good food, the venison is better.
I’m not a fan of venison either, and we have lots in our freezer. Your recipe looks good; I’ll try it!
