The Log Cabin was Nate’s choice for his 2018 birthday. It was a bit late (his birthday was last summer), but there was their wedding and a lot of other stuff going in the past few months.

This isn’t far from our house, and even closer to Nate and Lauree’s place. We haven’t been here for many years and Nate and Lauree had never been here – one of the reasons he chose it.

We were a bit early so waited for them in the beautiful lounge.

Nate was pleased with his choice.

After getting our drinks (everyone chose water. I got a mix of grape juice and sprite) this warm, delicious, bread was delivered to our table.

Nate and Lauree shared this chocolate dessert – after enjoying their entree’s. Nate got a steak and Lauree a shrimp and chicken pasta.

Cerwin and I shared this lemon meringue dessert following our entrees. Cerwin had a meatloaf and I had a crab cake.

We had a truly great time with these two. It was fun learning how they are adjusting to marriage and hearing how they are different in makeup and personality. Lauree wanted to know how we met and how we are different in personality.
