Sunday, December 2
What fun preparing for our family this year as we set up tables for 33 people. Everyone was able to come except Nsimba, Elizabeth, and Nicodemus from Maine – and Kayla from Tennessee. There was even one extra – Katie, a friend of Roy and Deb.
That’s why Cerwin and I have our family Christmas on the first Sunday in December – because the chances are much greater that most of us can be together. There is too much going on during the rest of December.
I needed a new picture of Alicia and Jordan for our refrigerator – and since they came early, I took advantage of that.
It was Jade’s first visit to Great-Grandpa and Great-Grandma High’s house, so several were taking pictures. This is when Kristen took some of the great pictures she shared on my Facebook yesterday. Jade is a great combination of her parents. That’s her mom, Jenna, holding her.
We were still waiting on a few people, so it was a good time to get a few shots of us with Jade. She was too interested in all the movement and everything going on around her to look at her mom who kept trying to get her attention.
Now she’s looking at her mom and we are looking at the photographer. 🙂
Maybe if I get on her level. That worked – but now Great-grandpa isn’t looking at the camera.
Is he looking at the camera yet? Nope!
I’m about done with this picture taking. May I go back to my mom?
Hah — sometimes the best photos are the ones that just happen — like some of those in this group!
I agree.
