Even though our 1999 van is having issues, we feel almost sad to sell it “as is” at a local car auction. We bought it new in 1999 and it has served us well for nineteen years.

I think each of our grandchildren have ridden it – often five at a time.

Cerwin spent several days online, looking for a good, used RAV4. We have a 2011 and really like it – especially for travel. Finally he located the one he liked – a 2013) – and it is red just like our current one. 🙂

Tyler, our salesman at Wissler Motors, wanted a photo of us, so I asked him to take one with my camera as well.

He emailed his thumbs-up-photo to us. Can you tell that it was cold, sunny, and windy.

The most noticeable difference is the placement of the spare tire. Our 2011 has the tire storage in the back. The spare tire in the 2013 is under the back storage compartment.

My new favorite thing is being able to use the Bluetooth app with my cell phone – making it quite easy to talk and drive.
