They always set a beautiful table.

I needed some updated pictures for my refrigerator – and upcoming birthdays and did that while Jere and Kristen finished the meal preparations.

This was our table full this year. In this shot you can see Josiah, Lydia, Cerwin, Kristen, Jere, Jared, and Jesse.

Our group was smaller than usual. Mark and Diane and part of their family are in Maine; Hezekiah is in Tennessee; Nate, Abby, and Anthony celebrate with the Zucks; Roy and Deb were in Florida with his family; and Jeff and Chris have their own family dinner. We had moments when we missed those who used to join us but were enjoying Thanksgiving in Heaven: Betty and Fred (Kristen’s mom and step dad), Elwood and Gregg (Jere and Kristen cared for them) and most recently Mother Hershey.
I played a few games with Ian, Jared, Josiah, and Jesse.
First we went with Jesse’s choice – Camp – which was a new game for Josiah and me.
It was a interesting to learn more about birds and animals.
Jesse learned to shuffle cards when we played Crazy 8.
If you sit at a table with Josiah, you usually have to play Qwirkle. đŸ™‚
Colt enjoyed table scraps, then took a nap.
Thanks, Jere and Kristen, for making sure we didn’t sit home alone on Thanksgiving Day.
