Monday, September 3 – Labor Day
We were on the road by 6:00 AM and enjoyed a beautiful sunrise to our left as we traveled beside many Maine inlets and bays.
While in Maine we saw a variety of signs that fall will soon be upon us.
Leaving Maine.
We had an uneventful trip home.
This was the most unusual thing we saw on the variety of Interstates we traveled. It seemed to be a vehicle that belonged to a carnival. 🙂
Uneventful travel for almost nine hours meant we got home in time for supper at Jeff and Chris’ and were able to watch Donovan and Diana open their wedding gifts.
Wow — 9 hours is a long day’s drive. I love the carnival trailer! Glad you got home in time to enjoy the gift opening!
We have kind of gotten used to this nine-hour trip as we have made it at least twice a year for thirty two years. We have regular stopping places. Cerwin enjoys driving and I enjoy road trips.
