We were on the road early – about 5:00 am – so it was about an hour later that we began seeing early signs of daylight.

My favorite time of day to take pictures each time we drive to Maine is when the sun begins to rise as we maneuver turns in the road.

This was the last picture I took during our nine-hour drive. The rest of the trip was normal and delightful as I read and talked to Cerwin and Diane.

After spending two weeks in Pennsylvania, Diane was glad to see their house, garden, and…

…Mark. 🙂
