Saturday, August 25 – Wedding Reception
The pretty wedding cake
I was taking this picture – and standing next to the cake – when they announced that Donovan and Diana would be cutting the cake. Every now and then I am at the right place at the right time.
These two agreed ahead of time that there would be no cake-smashing. 🙂
The girls
The guys and Lauree. (She moved to the guys end of the table to be near Nate.) Nate, you know when you make a face at me, that is how you will look on the picture. 🙂
People began visiting at the end of the reception and I took pictures of a few friends and family.

Our pretty little Jade – slept through most of the reception.
Cynthia Forry and I met here for the first time. We have been blog friends since Xanga days – probably 10-12 years. About a year ago we discovered that we were connected through Donovan and Diana. Cynthia is Donovan’s aunt and I am Diana’s grandma.
Somebody wanted a photo of our four children, so I took advantage of the pose.
Great-grandma Hershey talking to Jana and Josh
I was trying to remember why Abby was holding her guest gift up for me to see. But I think it was because I wanted a picture with Anthony – for a family picture – and he didn’t want to be held – so she held that up. 🙂

Gloria telling us what it is like to be Diana’s youngest sister – and giving them a blessing.
Danon telling us about being Donovan’s brother and sharing a blessing to the couple.
This was my final photo shot of their special day.

Blessings upon blessing to you two as you begin a lifetime together.
Love this!
So do I. 🙂
What a lovely day it was — and I love the last photo!
That is what Cerwin said after looking at this last set of pictures. I like the last photo.
