Hezekiah and Kayla drove up from Tennessee on Thursday, August 23 and returned on Sunday, August 26. It seemed like a good time to visit Heze’s mom since Pennsylvania is about half the distance than traveling to Maine.
Deb was in the area for a vet appointment for a few of her animals so we planned a 9:30 am brunch. L. to R: Diane, Deb, Heze, Kayla, and Cerwin.
Deb has a few raccoons that are soon ready for release.
Abby and Anthony also came over to see our visitors.
I think this is the cutest racoon I have ever seen.
Diane was trying to get a kiss or nose rub from Anthony before they left. 🙂
Kayla brought Diane some Purple Hull Peas
Diane and I shelled them a few days later.
She dried them in Abby’s dehydrator so they are now only half this size.
Cerwin and I took them to Cat’s Meow for their birthday meals on Friday evening.
Cerwin got his Cat’s Meow favorite – potato skins.
Kayla’s pasta and chicken
Diane’s taco salad
Heze’s spaghetti and meatballs
My crab cake melt
Diane and Cerwin played Qwirkle while Heze and Kayla visited his brother Josiah.
What fun to see Heze and Kayla for a few days.
That raccoon is looking up at Deb just like a baby looks at his momma.
Her rescues think she is their momma. 🙂
Love the raccoons. We used to raise them.
The food looks delicious!
She has fun raising raccoons for release.
