I was surprised to discover five more mushrooms growing – in the same area as the two large ones of the other week.

By the next day there were seven. Yes, I can count, there is one slightly hidden – third from the right.

These were much smaller than the first two – the other week. Those had a diameter of 11inches. These were probably 6 or 7 inches across

On the third morning they all seemed to be open and mature.

By the sixth day they were over the hill.

It was on the last day I found a third mushroom in this cluster – meaning there were actually eight.
