Tuesday, August 7 – Late Morning
Just before lunchtime I noticed that our Amish neighbor was raking the field across from our yard.
We had looked at the field a few days earlier. It seemed like a mixture of grasses – probably for their milk goats.
I didn’t realize that I captured a flying bird – in the background. 🙂 It appears to be a large bird because it is over the cornfield. Maybe a pheasant or hawk.
We went away in the late afternoon – and by that time the mixture was baled and put in the barn.
They work hard and quickly, even with that primitive machinery!
They certainly do work hard. But they also enjoy life.
