Getting ready to water flowers.
His next job was to fill the birdbath. I think most of the water went on the ground. 🙂
Then we did some farming and played a game.
That was fun!
Rest in the Lord and be willing to wait for Him. Psalm 37:7 (NLV)
What game is that, Doris? We have some grandson birthdays coming up.
It is so old I don’t remember the name. I think it may be Fischer Price. We were taking animals out of their “pens” by color. There are a variety of games that can be played. I told him to count his animals when we were finished. He said you will have to help me after ten, because I get them mixed up after that. 🙂
PS: I just checked, and there in not a name with it.
How fortunate you are to be able to spend time with your grand- and great-grand- kids!
Yes. I praise the Lord for that. Many people don’t even get to meet their grandparents.
I met two of my grandparents — my paternal grandfather died when I was 2, but I had met him. And my maternal grandmother lived in England — I met her when I was 14 and we took a summer trip to Europe. My niece and nephew knew their maternal grandmother for several years when they all lived in Santa Barbara. It is such a blessing to have that insight into one’s background!
I agree, it is a blessing to have that insight into one’s background.
What a big helper Anthony is! He has always seemed old beyond his years. You are blessed to be able to spend time with him, but he is also blessed to be able to know you. You are creating memories he will remember forever. My son knew two of his great-grandmothers and has fond memories of them – especially of my maternal grandmother.
I agree. We are both blessed.
