A Bridal Shower Honoring Renee and Lauree

The invitation said: Splish, splash we are throwing a pool party bridal bash!

Please join us to celebrate the upcoming double wedding of Renee Wiegand to Caleb Patches and Lauree Wiegand to Nate High.

What fun to relax around the pool of a cousin of the girls and meet some of their friends and family.

Renee and Lauree’s mom, Marilyn, welcomed us to the party and invited us to enjoy the snack that was just inside the door.

Someone asked the girls to tell us how they met their future husbands.

I especially enjoyed hearing how Lauree met Nate (our grandson).

Then they were asked how they came up with a double wedding.

Caleb and Renee were engaged first and already had a wedding date planned. One evening (shortly after Nate and Lauree were engaged) they began a discussion that ended up with them being excited about the possibility of a double wedding – then presenting the idea to the guys.
