We were nicely positioned along the route so I could photograph the Parade of Lights on Friday Evening, July 6.
It was a beautiful evening to watch a large parade of trucks.
It was dark by the time the last trucks were entering Mount Hope Event Center.
Meanwhile – inside the building – Aaron Stutzman was blessing the audience. Trucks were still arriving and Aaron’s group was still singing when we left at 10:00 pm to go to our motel.
The pancake breakfast was the opening event for Saturday morning.
Lunch was served after 11:00 am.
Gary Nussbaum – TFC’s Director of Follow-Up Ministries – oversees this event with his wife, Pearl, son and daughter-in-law Jason and Shannon, and many volunteers.
Pearl looking over the auction items.
I enjoyed watching this caricature artist drawing the four children in this family.
The benefit auction was the highlight of Saturday’s events.
If you like trucks or want to see what else happened during the parade and the day on Saturday, go to my Facebook post that includes more than 300 pictures.

Love the lighted trucks! They must be quite a sight on the winding country roads!
Yes, they bring almost everyone in the neighborhood to bring out their lawn chairs.
