Friday and Saturday, June 15 and 16

Because there are so many trucks at this show, I try to look for and feature a specific year.

This time I chose Chaplain Jake Wise’s birth year 1959. I found only four. There may have been more, but I looked each time we were out on the golf cart or when Cerwin and I were walking.

I had trouble reading the year on this one because of the windshield wiper, but was pretty sure it was 1959.

About the second or third time I went by this truck, the owner was sitting next to it. When I told him that he made it difficult for me to read the year on the card because of the placement of the windshield wiper. He smiled and said, “All you have to do is look at the grill.” There it was Nineteen Hundred & Fifty Nine. 🙂
