There were more than 840 trucks at this show
I saw most of them, but tried to limit my photos to a few special trucks..
This one caught my attention on my first golf cart trip around the grounds – thanks to Chaplain Jake Wise who serves on the chapel with us and brings a golf cart.
When you look at it closely, you expect the owner to be a tattooed motorcycle type of guy, but it was this clean cut man who owns a construction company.
Edward Crock and his sons built it by putting two Peterbilt’s and a pickup bed together. The front is a 1975 and the back is a 1987 Peterbilt. If you are interested in this kind of thing, go to their website http://www.crockcustomtrucks.com/ to see how it was put together.
While looking at the truck, Edward, told me to open the door and look at the gear shift.
Then he opened the sleeper door to show us the sleeper.
I liked the step up handle (chain and grenade) and the “bullet holes.”
In the sleeper area.
Just a few more fun pictures of this unique tractor.
More from Macungie tomorrow night.
Interesting! It’s good to know the owner is a clean cut guy!
Many of the guys and gals who own these antique trucks are company owners who love restoring – or remaking old trucks.
