Tuesday Afternoon, June 12
We have new scenery in our neighborhood as two large chicken houses are being built.
The corn in our neighborhood was planted a bit late this spring because of the rainy cool weather, but it is up nicely – and this photo was five days ago, so it has grown significantly since then.
It was a breezy day, so Anthony was fascinated that his fan worked without having to push the button.
He likes to examine things as we walk and was intrigued by this pool of stagnant water.
Then he wanted to play in the stones in the driveway below our yard.
Just before coming into our driveway we examined the wheat field across the road from us.
O beautiful for spacious skies,
For amber waves of grain
For purple mountain majesties
Above the fruited plain!
America! America!
God shed His grace on thee
And crown thy good with brotherhood
From sea to shining sea!.
It’s good to see Anthony so curious! Did he find anything interesting in the stagnant water? Love the wheat field shots! Your walks with Anthony are such fun!
I don’t think he even found any bugs in the water. I did think there would be something moving around in it.
Hah! I was hoping for at least a tadpole or two! Maybe next time!
