We had an interesting flight from Cape Town to Hoedspruit Airport. We flew for an hour and a half over barren landscape. I can’t wait to show you the Hoedspruit Airport. The runway is long and winding – to chase the animals off of it. We saw a few monkeys – vervets.
Phil and Kate (our professiona hunting/guide team) were there to meet us. Their 12,000 acre farm is about an hour away from the airport.
We are having a fabulous time – seeing a lot of animals. Jere and Cerwin each shot a nyala this morning. They each weigh about 300 pounds. Pronounced nee-alla. Of the antelope family.
