Driving home from our visit to the Local Market and Café in Brunswick (yesterdays post). The trees were just beginning to change colors.
Love this chainsaw carving in Mark and Diane’s neighborhood
It was a beautiful afternoon, so I took lots of pictures in their backyard garden. Notice their composting box.

Fantastic garden! I wish I had learned how to garden when I was young, but we grew up in the city and had a very small yard. We moved to this location when I was 53 or 54. I did have a garden for several years, but I was never a good gardener. Now I am just not able to do it anymore. Maybe I can learn to garden in Heaven? No weeds…….that would be wonderful.
Gardening is not one of my talents or joys, but I admire people who do enjoy it.
That’s a lovely garden full of flowers and vegetables. Does Diane preserve/freeze the veggies for winter food?
Yes, she freezes and cans lots of her vegetables.
Wow, what a beautiful garden!
I know. I am so impressed.
