One day when Jesse was here, I asked him and Cerwin if they would help me cut the daylilies and Shasta daisies.
Cerwin looked at the job I planned to do with scissors and clippers and said, “I can do that much quicker with a hedge trimmers.” …and he did.
Jesse loaded them in our yard wagon.
In one of his times of picking up flowers he made friends with a small toad.
He put it down in the middle of the driveway so it wouldn’t get caught in the hedge trimmer.
When we were finished, he put it back in the flower bed to continue its little toad life.
What a sweet friend Jesse was to put the toad back where he wanted to be!
I always like when children are kind to critters like toads.
Thank you for your kind congratulations about the birth of outr first great grandchild
I found your site via Google
Toads are modest creatures but they have the most beautiful eyes in the world ( golden iris )

You will enjoy your great grandchild. We have one who is three years. It is fun having a little one – because the grandchildren are all growing up.
Yes life is beautiful.
