This was the week that Jesse was with us – while Ian and Jared were in Wyoming.
Jesse liked the idea of making supper for his parents and Josh – Jana was working.
Our first project was making a Jell-O and ice cream dessert. He chose orange Jell-O.
A few hours later we prepared a pan of stuffed shells. (Schwan’s)
Mixing the sauce.
Supper is ready!
His vegetable choice was milk peas. He loves milk on his peas. 🙂
Reading the next chapter of A Child’s Look at the 23rd Psalm by Phillip Keller.
One thing I remember from this chapter is, “Not every shepherd is a good shepherd.”
We need to make sure that we are following “The Good Shepherd.”
Never heard of milk peas, only creamed ~ ?
They are delicious!
I never heard of milk peas. I’ll have to try them. Were the peas canned, fresh, or frozen?
These were frozen. Just add milk and butter after they are cooked. Of course you will need a small bowl, or there will be milk over the rest of your food, and you will lose the effect of the milk with the peas.
