Monday, March 13
Dark clouds came in to cover up the pretty sunset on Monday evening.
By Tuesday morning there was a few inches of snow.
Snow plows tried to stay ahead of the impending snow storm.
By this time only the brave birds were out eating.
I think this poor robin was confused by the white stuff on the ground and was probably thinking that it had moved north far too early this year.
The poor robin was confused because February thought it was March and now March thinks it’s February. 🙁
I was thinking that today. It surely feels and looks like February.
The poor birds! And I love the shot of the chair and table! I do hope all the people were safe through the storm, and that the snow melted quickly when it was all over! We have lovely weather right now — foggy, cloudy nights, and sunny days — with rain coming Tuesday or Wednesday.
It is still cold here, so there is a lot of snow on the ground.
Move around carefully!
Thanks. Yes, it is still icy – especially in the mornings.
It’s been fun to watch the Iditarod this year — your Jesse Royer came in #5
You did well to remember that I like to watch how Jesse does. 🙂 It was 13 1/2 years ago when we were in Alaska and met her. I just checked the race when I woke up and noticed that the last few racers came in to Nome while I slept.
