We love being invited to join Jere and Kristen’s family for their traditional Christmas Eve movie and meal.

This year we started with an early lunch at Pizza Hut. Roy and Deb also joined us as his family lives in Florida. Jere and Kristen like to make sure all family members have something to do at Christmas.

We had the place to ourselves.

We got to Penn Cinema about noon.

Kristen always takes a picture of their family in front of the tree, so I took advantage of their pose.

Jesse was delighted to carry our stash of popcorn and his drink to the theatre room.

This year we were going to see “Sing”.

We were early so the room was still empty. It got full by the time the movie began.

Sing was the best movie I have ever seen at a theatre. I have seen only about 6 or 7 theatre movies in my lifetime. 🙂

It was fun to watch the variety of personalities and situations in this movie.
