This was a view from our motel. This is when I learned that it had rained during the night.
Pretty flowers surrounding our motel.
Following breakfast in the hotel, we went for a country drive – without having a clue where we were going. We turned left when we felt like it, went straight at some crossroads, and other times we turned right.
We stopped when I wanted to take a picture.
Eventually we decided it was time to set our GPS to return to Berlin.
Enjoy our drive
Hey, guys. The lady has a camera. Don’t look at her.
It was at this point we headed back to Berlin – then Kidron.
How charming – and delicious – to have lunch in the town of Charm.
Our goal for the evening – where the Parade of Truck would begin – was Kidron Auction.
Since we had an extra hour or two before the trucks began to gather, we went to Lehman’s – a super-sized hardware store – at the other end of the lot.
I have never seen anything like it, and thought I may never find my way back to the entrance.
Come back tomorrow night to see the gathering of the trucks and the parade of lights.
Wish we were there! Can u alert is to this next year?? Holmes County is about one of my favorite places to take photographs ~ ?
It is always the 2nd Saturday of July.
You’re getting some gorgeous pictures with that new camera! We’ve been to Lehman’s – it’s quite an experience, isn’t it!
Yes, that is quite the experience.
