Yes, we are going through the Pennsylvania tunnels again – and heading west.
This time to Ohio for the TFC Truck Rally.
I enjoy seeing farm scenes when we travel.
I also enjoy the mountains, rivers, and bridges.
We had about this much rain – a few drops – just before arriving in West Virginia.
Our trip through West Virginia didn’t take very long – it was about 15 miles until we saw the Ohio border.
Queen Anne’s Lace not far from our motel in Berlin, Ohio.
A pretty arrangement next to the elevator in our motel – Berlin Grande.
Our beautiful room on the third floor. This is the second year that we stayed here during the rally – and we will do it again next year.
My favorite thing to do in this area is drive – slowly – over back country roads and see the Amish farms.
My favorite picture of the day.
We drove from Berlin to Kidron Auction to get a feeling for where the Parade of Lights would begin the following evening.
The International Chapel was parked there as an advertisement for the parade.
We went back to Berlin for supper – at the Berlin Farmstead – next to our motel.
These – inside the restaurant pictures – were taken with my cell phone.
I was hungry for a taco salad, but wow, I didn’t need this much. 🙂
It was delicious, but I could only eat half of it.
Cerwin ordered a small portion meal so he could have fresh peach pie for dessert.
It was a nice relaxing – and delicious – day.
Your favorite picture is mine too. That Cerwin is a smart man. Fresh peach pie……yum.
I wish restaurants would let you order 1/2 of a large salad like that one.
I asked before I ordered. But it only came in one size.
