Saturday Afternoon, May 21
These pictures were taken at a nearby property a few hours before their wedding.
I was there to do the candid photos and a few family pictures while photographer Korina Wenger did the professional photography.
Korina had an assistant (Shontel Stoner) who also did some candid photography.
Cerwin talking to my sister, Nancy, mother of the bride.
The time they spent taking the pre-wedding photos was the only time of the day that it didn’t rain. It was cloudy and overcast – perfect for outside photos.
The resident dog was probably wondering what was going on.
Nancy also took a few pictures.
She discovered that I was photographing her.
Moving to a new setting.
The mothers. Nancy was in serious thought about something, but Donna noticed that I was there with my camera.
Some of the bridal attendants had arrived and were waiting for their pictures.
Our brother-in-law, Marlin, (father of the bride) and Cerwin.

More pictures tomorrow night.
I love the wedding dress! The sleeves are scalloped, aren’t they, with the decorative edge to match what is on the dress? And that pouffy skirt it has – I love it! Did someone make it for her? Putting on all those buttons in the back would do me in!
She bought the dress, but I am not sure if it was at a local store or on line.
A lovely venue for the photographs! And how perfect that it stopped raining while the photos were being taken! It’s a lovely dress, and that looks like the beginning of a lovely wedding!
It is a beautiful, private property not far from our house. We had never been there before so it was fun to see it.
love those cowboy boots ~ 🙂
Me too. 🙂
