This was our annual deluxe manicures and pedicures.
At Christmastime we gave everyone a list of things they could choose to do for their 2016 birthday gift. These three chose manicures and pedicures – Jana, Abby, and Deb.
Deb came from southern Lancaster County and arrived a few minutes after the rest of us, and waited a bit for an available chair.
Abby deciding on her flavor of scrub.
Looking relaxed. 🙂
Somewhere in this process we enjoyed hot rocks and an incredible massage.
Paraffin dip
This was a fabulous-smelling cream.
This is my favorite part of deluxe pedicures – when my feet are in paraffin and my legs are wrapped in hot towels.
The girls enjoy getting interesting colored toe nails.
I have been at other places that did an equally good job of pedicures, but I never had a better manicure. I don’t get polish on my nails, but asked to have them buffed. Jana did the same thing. Our fingernails were buffed so well that it felt and looked like they had been polished.
Our hands and feet thanked us for several days.
This restaurant is in the same parking lot. I told the manager of VI Nails that we had a 6:30 PM reservation at the restaurant, then asked what time should we make our nail appointment. She said 5:00 PM.
The timing was perfect.
Cerwin and Roy joined us for supper.
Our bread dish
We shared a cheese and nut appetizer
The chef’s treat was something pickled – either apple or rhubarb – or both. I don’t think any of us wanted seconds. 🙂
Several ordered the meatball special.
Another choice was pulled pork.
I had this delicious asparagus-leek soup.
We shared these desserts.
I just wanted to test the lighting – not their faces. 🙂
The four of us were now quite relaxed and well-fed.
Jana’s mom wanted a picture of the two of us for her scrapbook.
That was a fun way to celebrate these three girls birthdays.
A fun looking girls’ day out!
It was so much fun.
Gals have more fun–nice to see them enjoying life together.
We do! 🙂
