Sunday Afternoon and Evening – April 24
Nsimba and Elizabeth wanted some new pictures.
I chose a few of my favorites.
Our great-grandson, Anthony, likes to be outside. Since it was a warm day I gave him some things to do with water.
After his parents took him home for a nap (They live less than two miles from us.), Nsimba, Elizabeth, Josiah, and I played Qwirkle.
This is what our supper table looked like with the Myers’ family – Hezekiah, Lydia, Nsimba, Elizabeth, Nathaniel, and Abigail on the left.
Anthony on the end with his grandparents next – Diane and Mark, then Josiah and Cerwin.
Abby had a bit of a surprise for Anthony whose second birthday is in early May.
Listening to us singing Happy Birthday.
Getting encouragement from his Dad on how to blow out the candles.
Gifts
Groceries
I had never seen anything like this – slices of bread that can be put together by Velcro so it can be “sliced” with this knife.
Also vegetables that can be sliced.
I love spending a day with family.
What a nice time! Elizabeth looks great — and so does Anthony — as well as the rest of the family! How nice to have them all together! Two is such a fun age!
Elizabeth is beaming these days. 🙂 I agree that two is a fun age.
There is so much love and joy!!!
We love to be together.
I love that you gave that little guy “some things to do with water.” You KNOW little boys! 🙂
He was content for a very long time – as long as I kept providing containers of water. 🙂
