Saturday Evening, April 23
I was pleased that Jere and Kristen were able to host this party – and they seemed to have a lot of fun decorating their barn and preparing a fabulous meal.
They used a hunting theme.
Snack mix for the girls…
…and for the boys
I ordered the cake without knowing their theme. 🙂
Smoked brisket
Baked beans
Mixed vegies
Relishes
Coffee, punch, and water
It was delightful to have my step-mother, our two sons, two daughters, two daughters-in-law, two sons-in-law, 14 (of 16) grandchildren, two grandsons-in-law, three friends of grandchildren, and our great-grandson at the dinner. Hannah stayed behind in Maine to work and Lydia came to Pennsylvania but went to a youth activity – with Grandpa’s approval. 🙂
If I counted correctly, there were 31 people there.
Jere giving us meal instructions
Anthony giving his Grandma a kiss.
Nate gave Grandpa a “wild ride” in his 2000 Chevy Camaro.
It smelled like a race track. 🙂
If you go to my Facebook page (Doris Jean High) and scroll down to April 23 you can see the video that Donovan posted.
Time for birthday cake.
Singing Happy Birthday.
Cerwin’s and my siblings were invited for the cake and ice cream.
The cake was half white with raspberry filling…
…and half carrot with cream cheese filling.
We ended the evening with fireworks.
Heze brought them from Maine.
There is a good possibility that we have the best family in the world. 🙂
Happy Birthday Cerwin!!
Thank you. He appreciates that.
A fabulous party! I’m impressed!
We were impressed too.
Happy 75th, Cerwin — I hope it continues to be a happy year 🙂 !!! Looks like a wonderful dinner — and even fireworks!!!
