After having a beautiful day today, it is difficult to remember the very cold mornings of Tuesday, April 5 and Wednesday, April 6 when there was ice in the birdbath.
I wondered if our tulips would survive the freezing temperatures.
The suet was even frozen – making it more difficult for the birds.
They were good days for me to have an inside job – working on bulk mailings for our TFC staff.
It is amazing how God’s creatures survive all kinds of wether conditions.
I often think that on really cold days – wondering how God made birds and animals to withstand cold weather.
It’s amazing to me that you had ice only 2 weeks ago — we broke 90 degree records here today, and probably will again tomorrow! As my poem said (on Xanga), we probably won’t see much more rain until the fall!
We are supposed to have really warm weather today – I think the mid-seventies, but we are still having some cool nights.
