Wednesday, March 2 ~ Friday, March 4 ~ Saturday, March 5 It’s nice to see a pretty bird on a sad day. Kristen and Debbie came here to design our family’s picture board for the viewing and funeral. Arranging pictures Kristen is an avid scrap booker, so her Cricut was a great help. Everyone’s photo boards at […]

Saturday, February 27 We had a wind storm in our area a few days earlier, and because this old, ratty pine tree is at the northeast corner of our house – in the back – we did not even notice that it was down for a few days. On Friday evening Cerwin messaged Ian to […]

Saturday evening, February 20 Cerwin and some of Glen’s TFC friends. We loved how his children had decorated the tables with some of Glen’s model truck collection. We chose to sit at this table. 🙂 Glen drove for Yellow Freight – today it is known as YRC. Most of the attendees were their children – […]

Saturday, February 20 During the previous, cold, windy weekend, Cerwin and I decided that we needed a mini, local vacation. (This was the weekend before Mother High’s death, so we didn’t want to go very far.) After the prayer breakfast, we visited Mother, then went to hear Mark Lowery. Most of you know him as a […]

Travel Pictures from the Blustery Day in Mid-February

Saturday, February 13 On our way to go out for supper, we came upon this back-country road where the snow was blowing – making traffic rather slow and at times hazardous. Before long the two-lane road became one lane. When we met traffic coming the other way, several of us pulled in the driveway of an Amish […]

Saturday, February 13 This neighbor man and his dog seemed to enjoy the wind and snow. The wind was blowing the birdseed away so I put a block of suet in the frozen birdbath. This pretty blue jay seemed to appreciate it. Yes, it truly felt like winter in the middle of February.

My husband, Cerwin, and I have four children, seventeen grandchildren (2 are in Heaven), and 19 great grandchildren. Cerwin spent 40 years as a truck driver for Ferrellgas. We are both retired from serving with Transport For Christ - a ministry to truck drivers - and love our life in rural Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
