I opened a garage door to see the back yard – facing east.
Another garage door – facing north.
Looking out a front window – facing south. The birds are standing around a tray of birdseed – on a bush – already covered with snow.
A snowdrift sliding off our roof.
The large tree trunk is almost covered with snow. This is one of the trees that we had cut down in December.
Our mailbox.
Jesse and Jared decided to trudge through the snow in our yard.
It was still snowing after sunset – and we were already at two feet.
I loved seeing the boys playing in the snow. Kids make life fun.
They sure do make life fun.
Hah! I think the boys wanted to play in the snow, rather than trudging through it! These are wonderful shots, Doris, and really show the difference between the way it normally looks and the views in the snow. It’s interesting that the third shot actually looks like it might be an abandoned building!
It is abandoned. It’s an old outhouse. 🙂 The house next door used to be a one room school house. (I went there for the first three years of my schooling.)
Such beauty — all around!
We’ve had practically now snow this winter. I wouldn’t mind if we got a good storm before Spring comes.
I would be glad for another one.
We have really missed the snows this year. It has snowed all day here and we barely have an inch! I just love a good ol’ blizzard once a year ~ 🙂
