It will soon be the last time we see colored dogwood leaves this fall as we are beginning to have some cold, frosty mornings.
There was a bit of ice in the bird bath.
I’m surprised that we still have roses.
This rose is edged with frost.
I am sure these tender flowers in our patio flower bed will soon succumb to the cold weather.
They looked pretty with frost covering them.
Frosted lavender
By evening, it wasn’t the cold weather that took care of the dogwood leaves – but my tree-trimming husband. 🙂
Looks like a determined husband makes quick work of frosted dogwood leaves! That’s a neat shot of all the bird houses and bird baths!
All those bird feeders are not far from our kitchen window.
Such a pretty view, and it must be so nice to have those bird feeders close enough to enjoy all the activity! We have one large feeder just outside our kitchen window … sure makes doing the dishes a much more pleasant chore! I’m surprised that we still have buds on our rose bush, even now, in mid-December! All of the other flowers seem to be in ‘hibernation’! I wanted to have some lavender this year, too, but didn’t get a chance to get it. Thank you for sharing yours! And thank you for the tip about the right type of lens for taking pictures of the moon! 🙂
…and the birdfeeders closest to the window are not in this shot. 🙂
Wow the images looks amazing. Thank you for sharing this, it’s really inspiring.
