Then, just like that, it was time to clean up.

Jere and Kristen prefer being alone in the kitchen after the tables are cleared – this was the rest of us – watching football, playing Monopoly, checking a smart phone, and looking for deals.

Cerwin, Jesse, Jana, Deb, Allie, Josh, and Roy.

Ian, Jared, and Sarah (friend of Roy and Deb) were outside riding bike and checking on the chickens.

Josiah taught me how to play Qwirkle.

He knows the game too well and beat me in two games.

By then, Sarah was inside and joined us for another game.

Josiah won again.

Before going home we enjoyed pie and ice cream.
