There are at least three ringneck pheasants in our yard each morning, often only one at a time, but sometimes I see three on the edge of the cornfield.
A pheasant and a crow searching for breakfast.
Pheasants remind me of royalty because of their beautiful feathers and regal strut.
Reminds me of the time Tom was in Chicago driving home from O’Hare airport and saw a pheasant. He got so excited he missed his turn-off and ended up in Wisconsin before he realized what had happened.
That is so funny.
They’re beautiful — regal is a great description!
I agree.
Now, this was a treat for sure!
We haven’t seen them since the corn was picked. 🙁
