Tuesday Afternoon, July 14
After our snack/lunch at Freeze & Frizz, we walked to Lititz Springs Park to feed the ducks.
I had also planned to stop at Wilbur Chocolate – next to the park – but it felt like it would make us feel rushed, so we chose to feed the ducks and eliminate the Wilbur Chocolate visit.
It was nice – and fun – to be able to relax and enjoy the ducks.
There is a pellet machine where you can buy a handful of pellets for a quarter.
Thankfully I had lots of quarters.
It must have been a while since they were fed, because they waited intently for pellets.
Jared and Gloria decided to walk away and see if the ducks follow them. They did. 🙂
There is an underwater rock which the ducks use now and then.
It makes them look like they walk on water.
Diana showing off her leg strength.
The water is not very deep so I allowed her to show off her arm strength as well when she and Jesse agreed to do this.
I figured that if they fell in, we would just have two wet people on our hands. 🙂

Visiting the park and feeding the ducks was incredibly relaxing and fun. Then it was time to get home so Jana could relax a bit before going to work. This was her first day back at Fox’s Creamery since her surgery.
Feeding the ducks used to be a favorite activity when we were kids. They are such fun to watch! I’m glad Jana is doing so well 🙂 !
Feeding ducks is a fun, relaxing activity. Yes, we are so pleased that Jana continues to do well.
